The US military actually wrote a plan for a zombie apocalypse. CONPLAN 8888 is a real STRATCOM training document that uses a fictional zombie scenario to teach officers strategic planning under chaotic conditions. The plan covers threat identification, infrastructure protection, coordinated defense and offense operations, and order restoration. While not a real-world order, this creative training tool demonstrates that if military planners can develop strategies for the undead, they can handle any crisis.
