Here's what's on the radar in military life this week. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will not face an impeachment vote this week after House Speaker Mike Johnson called an early recess. Republican Representative Thomas Massie introduced the resolution over Hegseth's handling of the Iran war. Massie says the recess was intended to avoid the vote, while Johnson called the impeachment effort a stunt. For the first time, the U.S. military has confirmed it has weapons in orbit. Space Force says they're designed to defend U.S. forces against threats in space, but officials aren't revealing what the weapons are or how many are deployed. The Air Force is making a new push to keep military spouse contact information up to date. Leaders say outdated records left some families without communication or support when the Iran war began. The service now wants units to maintain accurate contact lists so spouses can be reached during deployments and emergencies. And an update for military travelers. TSA's Honor Lane program has now expanded to more than 30 airports, giving service members, veterans and their families dedicated security lanes. And if your airport doesn't have one, TSA says you can show your military ID for front-of-line access. As always, make sure you follow along so you never miss what's on the radar.
